Tomorrow is your last opportunity to sign up for our Virtual race! What’s stopping you? If you aren’t a runner, don’t worry - you can walk, too! You can even participate from your couch! All we ask is that you take a picture of you wearing your race shirt and share it on social media with #lionchase.
Five reasons you HAVE to sign up for the lion chase today!
This reason is the most important. All of the funds raised go towards a home for a family in need.
You’ve been meaning to keep that new years resolution and since 2016 is just around the corner, you don’t have time to waste!
You get an AWESOME t-shirt!
You would be joining people from all over the world to support our Casa de Amor program.
If you don’t, our lion might just come and chase YOU!
So, what are you waiting for? This is a perfect way for you, your church, your friends, and your family to continue supporting Amor in-between trips. If you know someone who doesn’t yet know about Amor, this is a really great way to introduce them!
If you follow us on social media or receive emails, you’ve probably read a few stories about families we have interviewed after a group, just like yours, built a house alongside them. If not, go check out our blog and then tell me you don’t want to sign up!
Our latest story is one you just can’t miss. Here is a little quote from that story:
“We have faith that God hasn’t forgotten us; that’s why you are here to build a house. May God keep giving you strength, because you didn’t know what we were going through. It feels good to know that someone cares,” Jose said, as he thanked the group for his new home.”
Jose hasn’t taken a vacation in 10 years because his family cannot afford for him to. They were living in a one-room shack comprised of garage doors before a group from Dublin, CA came to build with them.
This is why we run.
By signing up for the lion chase, you help make it possible for families like Jose’s to have a home. Don’t miss out on this opportunity. Sign up now! (Registration for the physical 5Krun in Coronado will be open until the day of the race, but why wait?)
