Participant Interview, Coming on A Mission Trip with Young Children

April 17, 2015 by Fabiola Johnson

LaurenMany people would not consider going to Mexico, let alone bring their children, but for Lauren from Yuba City, bringing her children is an opportunity she doesn't want to miss. After I shared in our facebook page a tongue in cheek article from the Huffington Post on 9 Reasons You Don Not Want to Travel in Mexico With Your Kids, she quickly responded that her young children were veterans of the Amor experience and I needed to talk with her:

Coming on Amor mission trips to Mexico has become a family tradition a time to connect deeply with her family and serve her local church and families in need in Tecate. Watch the video below as she shares her experience first as a participant, and now as one of the trip leaders with St. Andrew Presbyterian Church from Yuba City.
