Stay On The Race Against Poverty

If you're anything like me, that moment you load up in the vans to leave camp breaks your heart every time. Before I came on staff at Amor, I always left a part of my heart behind in Mexico. I was always wondering how I could do more. How could I keep serving alongside these families all the way from Indiana?

Those feelings for me ended up being a calling to come and work full time at Amor. That might not be the same case for you, but there is another way to continue serving alongside the Mexican people (even from Indiana).

We have plenty of opportunities for you to stay involved all year round! One of those is the Lion Chase 5k! All of our proceeds go to our Casa De Amor program that helps fund the building of homes and provide jobs for people within the local community among many other things. Translation: you can keep building homes all the way from wherever you are!Lion_Chase_5k_September_race

On September 26th, you can join us in Coronado or your hometown and get out and walk/run a 5k!

If you sign up for the virtual run, we will send you a bib and t-shirt so that you can be part of the event. Use the hashtag #lionchase and put your picture up on your favorite social media site!

It's such a fun way to stay involved, stay in shape, and keep building hope!

We hope to see you either on social media or joining us in Coronado!
